A master’s degree in theology, divinity, religious studies, or the equivalent is required. An ideal candidate is a compassionate leader who operates within the framework of Catholic social teaching and who takes the initiative to address pastoral care concerns. All religious studies faculty support Marymount’s campus ministry and sacramental formation programs and help prepare our students to take on leadership roles in liturgies, retreats, and social justice initiatives. Ideal candidates will be capable of teaching our Upper School course offerings: World Religions, Social Justice, Hebrew and Christian Scripture, and Ethics.
